The 1998 Summer Retreat Schedule at Saint Vincent Archabbey has been announced by Brother Hugh Lester, O.S.B., Retreat Director.
There will be six retreats offered, starting May 22-24, with “Benedictine Spirituality.” Retreat Master will be the Rev. Donald Raila, O.S.B., Director of Oblates. This retreat is for oblates and other interested persons. Benedictine Oblates are lay people who study Benedictine spirituality and live under the guidance of the wisdom of the “Rule of Saint Benedict.” Donation for this retreat is $100.
The Rev. Thomas M. Hart, O.S.B. will conduct a retreat for married couples from June 12-14. Donation is $240 per couple.
A retreat designed for women is scheduled for June 19-21, and will be conducted by the Rev. Mark Gruber, O.S.B. Donation is $110. Father Mark will also conduct a retreat for charismatics July 17-19. Donation is $110.
There will be a four-day retreat for men July 23-26, conducted by the Rev. Nathan Munsch, O.S.B. Donation is $135. And the Rev. John-Mary Tompkins, O.S.B., will conduct a three-day retreat for men July 31 to August 2. Donation is $110.
