Oblate Talks: Br. Nicholas Koss, O.S.B., to speak at Saint Vincent on “History of Benedictines in China” on February 15

A series of monthly presentations on Benedictine spirituality will continue on Sunday, February 15, from 3:00 P.M. to 4:15 P.M. in seminary classroom Brownfield 202 at Saint Vincent. The topic will be “The History of Benedictines in China,” and Br. Nicholas Koss, O.S.B., a missionary in Taiwan since 1966 and a professor at Fu Ren University in Taiwan and at Saint Vincent College, will be the presenter. To appreciate the presentation one does not need to have attended previous sessions, and all are welcome. Attendees may also attend Vespers at 5:00 P.M. in the Archabbey Basilica.

Also, local Oblates of Saint Benedict affiliated with Saint Vincent Archabbey and anyone else who may be interested will meet at 6:40 P.M. on February 15 in Brownfield Room 202 of Saint Vincent Seminary. The agenda will consist of the first of a series of discussions from the book Holy Silence: A Practical Guide to Recollection in God by Fr. Basil Nortz, O.R.C.       Furthermore, supper at 5:35 in the Eichstätt Dining Room (guest dining room) will be available. If you plan to attend supper, please phone Fr.
