Joseph LaFaro, who was a student at Saint Vincent at the time of the fire on January 28, 1963, discovered some slides while going through some of his belongings. Upon closer examination, he realized that the slides were of images he took during the Saint Vincent Fire.

He was kind enough to send his slides to the Archabbey, where members of the Communications staff scanned them for our archives and then returned the originals to him.
