2015 Winter Heart to Heart


This issue of Heart to Heart features the dedication of the new Basilica organ; a visit of Saint Vincent students to Rome to see Pope Francis; the 2015 Summer Retreat schedule. An exhibition of rare books at the Saint Vincent Latimer Family Library was pictured. Brother Canice McMullen, Father Killian Loch, and Brother Joachim Morgan professed solemn vows. The National Catholic Art Exhibition at SAint Vincent included the work of a monk and Archabbey employee. A feature on Father Emmeran Bliemel, O.S.B., the first Catholic chaplain to be killed in battle in America; the dedication of the Mary, Mother of Mercy Mausoleum Chapel; new Sunday Homily books by Father Campion Gavaler, O.S.B., and Father Demetrius Dumm, O.S.B., as well as one on Prayer Study and Work by Brother Bruno Heisey, O.S.B., The Rule in Bits and Pieces by Father Donald Raila, and awards for Heart to Heart. The untimely passing of Brother Nathan Cochran, O.S.B., is also noted.
