Rita McGinley, a role model in her efforts to support students in the Pittsburgh area, was honored at the annual Founders’ Day of Saint Vincent College, in this issue’s cover story. Coverage of the Saint Vincent Seminary Alumni Day, honoring John C. Marous Jr., retired chairman of the Seminary Board of Regents, and Cardinal Donald Wuerl, is also included. Father Cyprian Constantine traveled to Brazil to help the monks at Saint Vincent’s priory dedicate a new organ. Father Killian Loch was appointed the new campus minister at Saint Vincent College. Brother Francis Ehnat and Brother Nathanael Polinski were ordained deacons, Father Aaron Buzzelli recounted a trip to China, and a blessing was held at Penn State for the Catholic Center there, which is staffed by Benedictines from Saint Vincent. The Foster and Muriel McCarl Coverlet Gallery was dedicated on campus and plans were announced for a Mausoleum at Saint Vincent Cemetery.
