A new board of directors is installed at Benedictine Military School, and an exhibit at the Gallery honored the Basilica anniversary. Paul Whiteside was named to head the Development Office of the Archabbey and Seminary. Father Paschal Morlino attended the World Congress for Oblates in Rome; Father Thomas Devereux and Brother Nicholas Koss were named Alumni of Distinction by Saint Vincent College; Brother Bonaventure Curtis and Father Peter Augustine Pierjok made first profession of vows. The Gristmill coffeehouse opened. Brother Bruno Heisey, Brother Maurus Mount, Brother Benoit Alloggia and Brother Shawn Matthew Anderson made solemn profession of vows, and Jim Towey spoke at the annual Red Mass.
