Gristmill Coffeehouse Closing

From late 2004 through 2012, the Gristmill Coffeehouse served students, faculty members, and friends and neighbors of Saint Vincent. However, the decision was made to close the coffeehouse section of the Saint Vincent Gristmill on Monday, August 13, due to economic reasons.

While the coffeehouse had many loyal supporters, it was no longer an economically viable operation.

The Gristmill General Store will remain open, and monks of the Archabbey will continue to grind flour at the Gristmill as they have since 1854. Saint Vincent Bread will continue to be baked and sold at the General Store, where customers will continue to be able to purchase Gristmill coffee in bagged form for brewing at home.

Thanks to all of our loyal supporters these past eight years.
