Father Brian To Speak To Oblates September 19

Oblates from all locations and guests are invited to monthly meetings at the Archabbey.

The September 19 talk will be by Father Brian Boosel, O.S.B., on “Loving One Another in Benedictine Culture.” Father Brian has master’s degrees from Saint Vincent Seminary and Slippery Rock University. Following completion of his second master’s degree, he enrolled in the doctoral at The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., where he is completed his dissertation in Early Modern French History, entitled: “A Crisis of Amity in Early Modern France: Jansenism and the Friendship Between Vincent de Paul and the Abbé Saint-Cyran.” A member of the monastic community since 1998, he teaches in the history department at Saint Vincent College and directs the Honors Program.
