The story, edited by Father Donald Raila, O.S.B., and Oblates Lora Jacob and Michael Lo Piccolo, is told mostly in the words of Nadeem Feroze, through his email correspondence with Lo Piccolo, and his written correspondence with Father Donald. Heart to Heart, the magazine of Saint Vincent Archabbey, won a third place Catholic Press Association Award in 2017 for General Excellence, Religious Order Magazine. This is the fourth consecutive year the magazine has received this honor. Heart to Heart has also earned CPA awards for best cover, 2014, third place, for the Saint Vincent Fire cover designed by Jordan Hainsey and a third place, 2006, for the best issue on the papal transition for the tribute to Pope John Paul II. Brother Martinho Zevallos (Chávez), O.S.B., was ordained to the diaconate on July 15, by Archbishop Airton José dos Santos in Brazil. John Degnan To Give Red Mass Address Wednesday, July 26, 2017
 John J. Degnan, chairman of the board of commissioners of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and member of the Saint Vincent College Board of Directors, will give the fiftieth annual Red Mass address at noon Friday, September 22 in the Archabbey Basilica. The Red Mass, sponsored by the Diocese of Greensburg and Saint Vincent Archabbey, College and Seminary, is celebrated throughout the United States to invoke God’s blessings upon the members of the bench, bar, legislature, law enforcement and governmental agencies—all protectors and administrators of the law. The Red Mass is attended by judges, lawyers, political leaders, and officials of all faiths who come together to ask God to bless, strengthen and enlighten them as servants of the Law so that, in cooperation and mutual trust, they may more effectively pursue justice and freedom for all.
